The Origin of Demons

There are very many teachings about the origin and nature of demons by many people. Most of these teachings are wrong and misleading. There are those who teach that demons are categorized into good and evil ones. That is a wrong teaching. All demons are evil. There are those who teach that demons are only composed of fallen angels. That is totally wrong based on the Scriptures. A demon is an evil spirit. Evil spirits are not only fallen angels.

Rev. 12v. 9 shows very clearly that Satan and his angels fell from glory to darkness because of sin. They became evil spirits. One of the origin of demons is fallen angels. Angels were created by God, with a spirit, soul, and a spiritual body. Angels have a form and have feelings. They have a will just like human beings. The difference between angels and mankind is that man was created first with a natural body, which will later be converted to a spiritual one, but angels have never had a natural body. Also, mankind bears the image and likeness of God. Fallen angels compose the ruling demons in hell and in other parts of the universe. They are powerful and are always fighting against God’s Kingdom and his people. Demons cannot enter the third heaven. However, when God visits his people on earth, demons go before him to ask for permission to attack us as they did in the case of Job. Some people claim that Satan has access to the third heaven but that is wrong. No sin can enter heaven. Demons are the embodiment of sin. God visits us on earth, and when he does, Satan has access to him, and when the elect angels go before God, Satan also goes with them.

Another origin of demons is DISEMBODIED EVIL PEOPLE!!! All sinners in hell or those wandering the spirit world are demons and are doing the will of the devil. Mat. 14v. 26 writes of how the disciples of Jesus were terrified and cried out in fear when they saw Jesus walking on the sea for they thought it was a GHOST. There are sinners permanently bound in hell and others in chains of hell spirit wandering the earth in torment. A ghost here refers to evil fearful spirits of dead sinners wandering the earth. The same situation is seen in Luke 24vv. 37-39 when Jesus suddenly entered into the house where his disciples were though the door was locked. The disciples were terrified thinking it was a ghost. All departed spirits of sinners in hell or wandering the earth are nothing but demons and are aimed at destroying mankind. This is why God says no one should consult the dead. Ancestor worship is worship to demons. And this ancestor worship is practiced by many, with the Roman Catholic Church worshiping dead spiritual leaders.

Saints in heaven shall be like angels according to the words of Jesus himself. If the elect shall be like angels in heaven, sinners in hell shall be like fallen angels. They are demons because fallen angels are demons. Let it be settled that there are no children in hell or wandering the earth. Children are innocent and go to heaven after death. According to 2 Sam. 12v. 23, David knew this and when his infant child died, he said he will go to him in heaven. There are some heretics teaching that some children are bound on earth and the living need to pray for them to be taken to heaven. This is wrong. All elect people are escorted by angels to heaven. At death, all demons are totally defeated and all chains of sin are rendered powerless in the lives of glorified saints, and they go to heaven immediately. Praying for the dead to go to heaven is a wrong demonic doctrine, usually taught by the Roman Catholic Church, and sadly, some protestants teach it. I remember disagreeing with one of the preachers on this one point in email conversation. There are demons which manifest as departed babies or other people to deceive and destroy those who lost their loved ones, and when you wrongly pray for those spirits to go to heaven, the demons disappear, and you are left thinking your thoughts are correct and your prayer is answered! You are wrong and miserably deceived. There are no animals in hell also. Animals go to heaven after death. Hell is composed of two beings, namely, FALLEN ANGELS AND FALLEN MANKIND. AND BOTH ARE EVIL SPIRITS – DEMONS. Remember evil people are devils even when on earth. Jesus called Judas a devil. He also called Peter Satan because Peter was behaving like a devil at that moment!
