Thinking About My Yahweh Elohim

I am thinking about the works of my Yahweh Elohim, who saves his elect through his Son, Jesus Christ of Nazareth. He is the one who created the whole universe. He commanded light into being by his word. He is the creator of all living things, including mankind. He confused the languages of mankind, creating many different tongues. This Yahweh is the one who brought judgment by a flood in the days of Noah, but saved Noah and his family using an ark. He will later bring a judgment by fire at the end of this age, but will save his elect who trust his Son Jesus Christ as their savior and do his will.

Yahweh is the one who appeared to Moses in a burning bush. He called a discouraged Moses and sent him to Egypt when Moses thought he was too old to do the work. He delivered Israel from Egypt with a mighty hand, with signs and wonders. He knocked down the walls of Jericho. He also dried waters of a sea and a river and drowned Egyptians in the waters.

Yahweh burned with heavenly fire the soldiers who attempted to arrest Elijah the Prophet. He killed king Herod with worms because of his pride. He blinded the eyes of the soldiers who wanted to attack Elisha the Prophet. He carried Enoch and Elijah to heaven alive. He brought water from a rock and rained bread from heaven to feed his people. He transported Philip from one place to another by his miraculous power.

Yahweh sent his Son to partake humanity that he may die on a cross to save his elect people. After Jesus died, he resurrected him together with all old testament saints who had died. He will send Jesus to come and rapture his Church at the beginning of the great tribulation period. He will resurrect all mankind, some to shame and some to glory. He will judge all mankind based on what each did on this earth. These are just few things about the works of my Yahweh Elohim. What has your god done? No other God can do all these things, and so, you should turn from your idols and serve my Yahweh Elohim, who is ready to save you from your sins by the blood of his Son, Jesus Christ. There is only one true God, and he is Yahweh Elohim, the biblical God. Any other "God" is fake, even if he uses the name of my Yahweh Elohim. There are many gods which use names of our God, and even which have religions calling themselves "Christian" but they are only cults. As long as they deviate from what the Bible teaches, they are misusing the name of Yahweh and are antichristian. Examples are Mormonism, Seventh Day Advent-ism, Jehovah Witness, Christian Science, Roman Catholicism, Moon-ism, etc. Please, repent and turn to the true Yahweh Elohim, and do what his word says.

What Have You Stored up for Your Children?

2 Cor. 2v. 14 states: “ Now I am coming to you for the third time, and I will not be a burden to you. I don't want what you have--I want you. After all, children don't provide for their parents. Rather, parents provide for their children.”

If you are a parent, you have the responsibility of working to ensure you store up wealth to leave for your children. The Apostle Paul knew that and the above account shows he did, and taught others to do so. The main problem many children die poor like their parents is because their parents have turned them into money machines. The child does not have any time to enjoy his or her youth because the parents want each and everything the child earns. These greedy parents follow up each and everything about their grown up children to know every time a child earns some money, and after getting the information, they begin to trouble the child even though they have more money than the child. When these wicked parents were young, they saved nothing for their children and if they have anything, it is inherited from their parents. And they want their children to follow their bad examples. If you are a parent and you are strong, be satisfied with what you earn and do your responsibilities at home until the time you will be too old to work. At that time, your children will take care of you. You are to honor your parents in the Lord only. When Jesus was on this earth, we read of how his mother followed him in places he was preaching taking food to him, but sadly today some parents deny their children food and other things they have a legal right to, and follow them up everywhere in greed, to get the little they have to add to the much in their pockets. And if you give them something, they hold it, look at it, and greedily ask: "Don't you have something more?" Jesus had money in his ministry and work, but his mother took food to him. How many times have you supported your child? You are cursed, because instead of supporting your children until they get stable, you are denying them even cooked food. What will you do when you cannot earn anything yourself? Are you aware that God can kill whatever you think is your strength? God can even kill any of your cohorts who are inciting you against others just as he killed the Egyptian firstborns. Some children support the greed of their parents and those who oppose the said greed, these children and parents attack and persecute, but God shall deal with them.

Young people, take my advice. Do not allow your parents to turn you into a money machines such that they use you and at the end of the day you die poor, having saved nothing for your children. David saved for Solomon. Abraham saved for his children. Jacob did the same. These people did not become a bother and nuisance to their children. They saved for them, and when the children added their inheritance to what they got for themselves, they were able to save for their children too. But these cursed parents want us to store up riches for them in their pockets, which is a doctrine of the devil. When you are broke, they cannot give you anything, but want the little you earn. If your parents are earning something, let them be satisfied with that and give you a chance to manage your future. You must invest for your future, and if you allow your parents to run your life, you will live in stress, especially if they are only thinking you are their bank. Some of our parents are illiterate, and you have a Ph.D, and you father wants to manage you! It cannot work. You are in different worlds and will always be going in different directions. Some of your things are too complicated for them to get, so let them mind what is in their level, and leave you to do what is your domain. I have seen some illiterate relatives trying unsuccessfully to dictate what I should do in things in my profession and ministry! They are busy asking about me, even sometimes impersonating me to get information about my life, but have not changed me or stopped me. They are just stressing themselves to death for things they should forget about. Personally I am minding my own business, and so should they. It is sad to see parents who have money greedily forcing their children to give them the little they have to add to what they have. Such parents are cursed and have forgotten it is them to add to what their children have because it is their duty to leave a fortune for their children. I have personally made up my mind. I will take care of my parents when they cannot earn anything, but when they are earning, I will work on my projects no matter what they think. And I have a legal right to the family assets. I do not care what they may think. I will follow what the Bible teaches.

Children have left home and never want to go back because they know that home is a place of torment. When they earn peanuts, their parents are there greedily demanding it all to add to the much in their pockets. The Bible in Ephe. 6v. 4 says parents should not provoke their children. Provoking them brings discouragement. And these parents cannot support these children in their difficulties. We must rise up and condemn this type of greed. I remember a certain sister who used to cry a lot because of her parents. She was a house help and her parents wanted to dictate how she used her little money. They even wanted it all, making her become a slave. I cannot become a slave of my parents. If they want to curse, let them do so, but the curse causeless shall not come to rest based on Prov. 26v. 2. There are many people who cannot accept to work near home because their parents want to know each and every little thing about them. They want to know how much you earn, and even go ahead and budget for you!!! Such kinds of parents are a nuisance and must be opposed. Do not become a slave of any man. When time comes to take care of parents, we will dos so, but when it is not yet, we will mind our own business, and they must do the same.Honoring and loving your parents does not mean living in fear and worshiping them. You must be hard on them when it comes to doing what is right. They had their own live to live, and so they should not try to live yours. How many parents do we know, who when they get money from their children, they go and use it with other women or men, and give it out to the children of those they commit adultery with.

Do Not Forbid Speaking in Other Tongues

1 Cor. 14v. 39 says that no one should forbid others from speaking in other tongues. This means that speaking in tongues is for the present day Church. Despite this verse being very clear, many people have been denouncing and abusing those who speak in tongues and or encourage others to do so. There is no way that people shall choose certain verses to practice and leave out others. We must apply the whole Bible. Period.

Mark 16v. 17 says that tongues are a sign to the unbelievers. Those who believe speak in other tongues. If you are a Christian, you should believe and accept the infilling of the Holy Ghost which is always accompanied by speaking in other tongues. Acts 1v. 8 commands us to be endued with the Holy Ghost to get power to be witnesses for Christ Jesus. Acts 2v. 4 says that when the disciples were filled with the Holy Ghost, they spoke in other tongues. If they sopke in other tongues after they were filled, how the hell do you suggest you can be filled without speaking in other tongues? Matthew 25 writes of five foolish virgins who had no oil and five wise virgins who had oil. Those who had oil are those who are Spirit filled tongue speaking saints. In fact, only tongue speaking saints will be raptured according to Matthew 25. The foolish virgins who are not Spirit filled will be left here on earth to get to the great tribulation.

There are very many benefits of speaking in other tongues. One of these benefits is the ability to pray privately perfectly. Apostle Paul says that he spoke in tongues than all others in 1 Cor. 14v. 18. He used to pray for all men in tongues. I personally spend atleast two hours a day in prayer in tongues for all mankind. Another benefit is the ability to get messages from God if one has interpretation of spoken tongues. This gives prophetic messages and instrution to the Church. Speaking in other tongues frees the mind also that as you pray, you may read, make notes, and meditate on the word of God. I personally pray in tongues while studying and writing. In fact, I write my books while praying in tongues! There are very many other benefits of speaking in tongues one can research on. May you be filled with the Holy Ghost with the sign of tongues now. Amen.

Miracles are for Today

The skeptic claims that miracles were only possible during the Bible times. To him, any sign or miracle happening today must be from the devil. The skeptic believes that when the Scriptures were completed being written, all miracles, signs, and wonders stopped. And the skeptic quotes 1 Cor. 13vv. 8-13 to substantiate his heretic claims. However, that passage clearly says that the perfect will come when we see Jesus face to face. We are yet to do that. And if miracles passed away when Scriptures were finished being written, then what about knowledge? That passage says that knowledge will also pass away when the perfect has come. But we all know knowledge is very much present today.

Mark 16v. 20 says that the desciples went and preached and Jesus confirmed his word with signs. We must follow their example. Do not fake miracles or pretend to do them. Just preach the word, and pray for the sick, troubled, and needy, and God will do his work. Do your part and leave God alone to do his part. There are those who make up things. Some push people to fall down so as to show they have power. Just pray, and if God wants somebody to fall, he will fall. It is not a must that one falls down to get a miracle. I have seen people fall when I prayed, but others did not. In both cases, God blessed them. I have seen a Pastor hitting a person continually in the upper part of the stomach while praying for him. That is meant to make him weak and fall down. That is faking miracles. It is demonic. I have seen the same Pastor holding someone's head and moving it round in circles until the person faints. That is faking miracles and is demonic. Just pray slightly laying your hands on the person if need be, and God will do his work.

Mat. 10v. 8 tells us to heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, and cast out demons for freely we have recieved the power of God. Luke 10v. 19 gives us power to tread on all the power of the enemy and nothing shall hurt us. Acts 1v. 8 tells us that we need to be filled with the Holy Ghost to be able to witness for Christ. Always, the infilling is accompanied with speaking in other tongues. Mark 16v. 17 says those who believe shall speak in new tongues. As I post right now, I am praying in tongues. I can read and type while my spirit prays through my mouth because my mind is free to read and do other things. If you are preaching without the infilling, you are wasting your time. Get filled and God will do great and unsearchable things through you.

Defy Evil Examples from Parents and Ancestors

Judges 6vv. 25-27 states “That same night the LORD said to him, "Take the second bull from your father's herd, the one seven years old. Tear down your father's altar to Baal and cut down the Asherah pole beside it. Then build a proper kind of altar to the LORD your God on the top of this height. Using the wood of the Asherah pole that you cut down, offer the second bull as a burnt offering." So Gideon took ten of his servants and did as the LORD told him. But because he was afraid of his family and the men of the town, he did it at night rather than in the daytime.”

Based on the above account, Gideon destroyed his father’s altar to Baal and took his father’s bull and offered it as sacrifice to the Lord though his family members were against his actions. Gideon did not follow the evil example of his father but attacked the family gods and destroyed them. He did it at night so that they may not confront him and stop his obedience to the Lord. You must also defy the evil ways of your parents and ancestors and do the will of God. When you get saved, unsaved religious members of your family, beginning with your parents, will begin to show hatred against you. They will begin to do things like denying you what is legally yours according to the law. They may even deny you food, or cook two types of food, one bad, and another very good. They will give you the bad food, and give other members of the family the best. They will give some assets which bring money to some members of the family and not give you anything. They will become envious if they learn you got money from somewhere. In fact, whenever you earn anything anywhere, they will become jealous of it, and will increase hatred against you due to it. All these, and many other evils, are aimed at forcing you to follow the satanic examples of your parents and ancestors. They use manipulation to force you to bow. They are Ahabs and Jezebels in your family and they want to kill like Ahab and Jezebel killed Naboth and took his land, or tried to kill Elijah for denouncing their wickedness. Do not bow, and God will provide for you. Yahweh will fight against them on your behalf.

Gideon just took his father's bull and killed it! He did not ask his father for permission to do so. If he had done so, his father would have refused and called other followers of Baal to kill Gideon. Because your parents refuse to support you due to your faith, God will take what they own as his sacrifice. They cannot support you and so you are not effective in serving God. God will put holes into their pockets and they will lose what they have earned. When they lose it, God will bless you. You may not get what they lose directly, but their lose is a sign that God is blessing you. What they lose is a sacrifice to God because all things belong to God. God will take it from them just as he took the bull from Gideon’s father secretly. Confront their demons and destroy them by the power of the blood of Jesus.

Ephe. 6v. 1 commands that we honor our parents in the Lord, not outside the Lord. You do not honor them in things which are contrary to the Bible. Gideon destroyed his father’s demons because he was honoring his father in the Lord. Reject anything which is not of the Lord from your parents. Lam. 5v. 7 says that our fathers (ancestors) sinned and are dead, and that we have borne their iniquities. Jer. 14v. 20 reveals we should confess the sins of our parents and ancestors. If you want to know what your parents practice in secret, or what your ancestors did, look at what is happening in your family. If your family, or a member of it, has ever been attacked by demons within the compound visibly, then your parents or ancestors keep/kept demons and serve/served them secretly. You must confront them and attack them by the power of the blood of Jesus Christ.

Personally, when I was in Primary School, I was seriously attacked by demons (majini) inside my parents house, in our home, and its surrounding. The demons could suddenly appear before me and terrify me. I used to cry a lot and had no peace. The demons could come appearing like a huge red cock, a man dressed in a shirt with black and red spots, or like a huge fire. I rarely slept and my life was a great pain. Even when I was an infant, I used to cry a lot and this was due to demonic assault. The assault stopped for some years, but in 2003, I started having bad dreams. I could wake being attacked across my legs below the knees with a rod. Those night attacks began in a period I had began to see hatred from my family. I had earned some little amount of money that year and it was as if someone wanted all my money though I had given them what I could afford! And they did not even need anything from anyone. They had more than me but still wanted the little I had. At that time I asked God to save me in tears, and hell broke loose. When Satan saw my tears before God, he attacked me in a road accident exactly at the same spot where my other two brothers had had an accident in 1984! The demons which attacked as a child now wanted to kill me. I did not die, but lost my left leg below the knee. I use a prosthetic leg, but you cannot know that unless I tell you. Later in 2005, when I was praying and fasting for forty days, they tried again to attack physically, but the fire of God destroyed them. I have since known which altars are in our family and have destroyed them. I have destroyed all the power of Satan against me. I am more than a conqueror. You must do the same, or they will finish you.

Why We Go To Church

Hebrews 10vv. 24-25 states “ And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

The main theme in the verses above is SPURRING ONE ANOTHER TOWARDS LOVE AND GOOD DEEDS, NOT GOING TO CHURCH! LOVE IS SHOWN THROUGH GOOD DEEDS TO OTHERS, NOT BY EMPTY WORDS. The reason for gathering together is more important than the act of meeting together. If you are not being encouraged in the things of God in a certain Church, keep off that Church until you get a Church where you are being spurred on towards good deeds. Some Churches are composed of people who only want others because of what they have, but when they are in hardships, they ignore and refuse to support them.

Satan knows how to kill Churches if the leaders are ticks who only want to get but cannot give. If leaders lack love and good deeds, they inspire those who are spiritually asleep with their evil spirit and all become the same. Whoever is different is hated though he or she is the one doing the will of God. There are very many people who think that going to Church is the main sign that one is born again. However, sometimes refusing to go to some Churches is actually the sign that a person is born again. 2 Tim. 2v. 22 says we should only pursue the things of God with those who have pure hearts. These are those who do good deeds and encourage others to do so. I am not saying that you hate others who do not seem to measure up to your standards. I am simply saying that God expects you to keep company with the pure in heart when it comes to spiritual matters. You cannot organize a prayer meeting with sinners, or false Christians.

Another thing you should learn from the above account is that totally deciding you will never go to Church or gather with other people of God is a sin, but skipping gathering with them no matter how long is NOT a sin. Many keep making others feel guilty by condemning them simply because they did not go to Church for some time yet those they condemn are pure in heart and their failure to go to Church was due to a good reason. Elijah did not go to Church for three and half years when he was hiding in Syria from Jezebel, but he is in heaven. Moses did not meet with the people of God for over forty years when he had fled to Midian from Pharaoh, but he is in heaven. Paul did not meet with God's people for three years when he was in Arabia after salvation, but he is in heaven. Jesus did not go to Church for forty days when he was in the wilderness praying and fasting, and he is our savior! As long as there is a good reason, you should not feel guilty if for whatever reason you miss going to Church. In conclusion, let us emphasize more on the reason why we go to Church than the act of doing so. We go to Church for encouragement, not because going to Church is the ticket to heaven. And this encouragement is by helping one another materially as well as spiritually. Keep off Churches which cannot support you financially when you are in hardships. Also, avoid Christians who cannot encourage you materially by helping you in your hardships, as well as those who cannot spur you on spiritually because they live in willful sin.

Wisdom

Proverbs 4v. 7 states “The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding.”

If there is a thing people have failed to do is to practice what they teach. People perish because of lack of knowledge, but this knowledge must be applied for one to save himself from destruction. Wisdom is the right application of knowledge. For example, when God created humanity, he created a male and a female. A male has his sex organs, and a female has her sex organs. A male uses his sex organs to have sex with a woman through her sex organs. It is not wise for a man to have anal sex with another man or with a woman. A penis goes with a vagina, not with your hands, somebody’s mouth, or any other thing. It is foolishness and stupidity to use something for what is unnatural or what is never meant for. So, homosexuals, lesbians, and sexually pervert people are idiots and hooligans who mislead others by lying to them that what they do is wisdom.

Knowledge states that “dad” is the title for your father and “mum” is the title for your mother. It is foolishness and stupidity for you to call your husband “daddy” or your wife “mum.” I usually wonder whether some preachers have brains upstairs when they go to national radio or television and they start calling their wives “mum” or their husbands “dad.” And when they do this, they claim to be teaching about wisdom. It is only a "cry baby" or a "mama boy" who can call his wife “mum” and a Jezebel who can call her husband “dad.” May God remove all that foolishness, stupidity and pride from those who do these things. If you do that, stop it because there are people in your Church or ministry who hate to hear that though they may lack the boldness to denounce it as I do. I have already heard followers of some of you preachers murmuring against such things. Why should you annoy people of God for such things? we listen to preachings to get encouraged but not hurt by foolish things.

Let us practice what we claim to preach. If you preach water, drink water but not wine. If you preach that people should be wise by stopping all forms of sins, do not practice sin yourself. Mat. 8v. 12 states very clearly that children of the Kingdom will be cast into outer darkness. These are people who preach about wisdom when they are applying foolishness. The five foolish virgins in Matthew 25 are in this category. They preach about the importance of oil, which is the infilling of the Holy Ghost, but they themselves never get filled. When Jesus comes for his people, they are left. And during judgment, they start explaining how they preached, did miracles, prophesied, and cast out demons in Jesus's name. Wake up from your spiritual slumber, and stop the foolishness of sinning in secret and preaching righteousness and holiness in public.

Do Not Eat and Drink Judgment

1 Cor. 11vv. 27-31 says that eating the Lord"s super in an unworthy way brings judgement. Some are weak and sickly because of it. This verse gives us a general principle which is applicable in all rituals or ceremonies which are done in the name of the Lord Jesus, including Christmas. Celebrating Christmas in a sinful way brings judgement upon the person involved. Many people have died or become sick while celebrating Christmas. All methods of celebration which are contrary to the Scriptures must be avoided by all who claim to be Christians.

Ephe. 5v. 18 says we should not be drunk with wine but we should be filled with the Holy Ghost instead. Christmas is a time for you to be filled with the Holy Ghost, but not a time for you to get drunk with alcohol. God is ready to give you a new tongue if you ask him to fill you with his Holy Ghost this Christmas season. While others are stammering due to alcohol, you will "stammer" due to the Holy Ghost. When others are committing sexual sin and abusing others due to alcohol, you will be speaking mysteries before God due to the baptism of the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost infilling is available for all who believe. You do not need to be perfect spiritually to be filled. You only need to be a born again Christian. It does not matter which Church you belong to. As long as you are born again, the Lord will fill you. After that, you may leave dead Churches and join living Churches. Many Churches are dead. I hate the presence of hypocrites and for this, I never go to dead Churches which are led by sinners of all sorts. Many in these white washed tombs of Churches are sexually immoral and practice witchcraft. There are even homosexuals claiming to be filled with the Holy Ghost. And some speak in tongues!

2 Timothy commands that we flee from our youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, love and peace with those who call upon the Lord out of a pure heart. This Christmas season is a season of fleeing our youthful lusts. You cannot run towards sexual immorality, drunkenness and expect to see the Kingdom of God. You cannot also call upon the Lord with hypocrites who call his name out of impure hearts and expect blessings from God. God commands you to come out of them, and not to touch any unclean thing. When you allow men to start caressing your breasts, and touching places I do not want to mention here, you are not fleeing your youthful lusts. You are embracing lusts of the flesh and you are bringing judgement on yourself. I do not allow women to touch me anywhere they feel like. I am not a petrol pump to dip my pipe and pump oil into any car's tank! You as a woman are not a hole for any serpent to enter. You are not an ATM machine to receive every Visa or Master Card. Our bodies are the temples of the Holy Ghost. Keep yourself pure and put to death whatever belongs to your earthly nature. Celebrate Christmas in a godly way and remember the poor in the society. Give your money to the needy and God shall bless you. Remember the men and women of God who have been praying for, and ministering to, you and give them gifts.

They Hate You Due to Envy

Mark 15vv. 9-14 reveals that the Jews delivered Jesus to Pilate for crucifixion not because Jesus had committed a criminal offense but because of their envy against him. They also incited the crowds to riot so that Pilate may sentence Jesus to death because of the said envy. They could not give a reason for their accusation against Jesus. When Jesus began his ministry, even his own relatives hated him and thought he was mad. Jesus appeared to be as ordinary as any other person and to his brothers and sisters, there was nothing special in him. They tried to oppose his ministry but they could not stop him. Jesus even defied his parents when it came to serving God. He was left in Jerusalem contrary to his parents wishes and caused them great pain as they were searching for him. If you are a born again Christian, you will be hated and persecuted by those who envy you. You will have to defy your parents when their demands are contrary to what you are doing for God.

It is not because you have sinned that you are going through pain. It is because they envy you. In 2008, a Pastor of a Full Gospel Church in Kivaa in Yatta called me to his office when I first attended his Church. In his office, he told me many things about himself. He asked me where my family lived and I told him they were at Makutano in Masii. Later, I began seeing some of the teachers who were members of his Church, and who were working with me at Kivaa Sec., mocking me and showing hatred against me. One of those teachers is a Pastor and he told one student never to talk to me. Some teachers started calling me an agent of Satan because students were taking my preaching seriously. Later I realized that the Pastor of the Full Gospel Church had told some members of his Church that I had cheated him that I had a wife. To him, “family” means wife. His lies against me strengthened those who were persecuting me, and I lost my job. That Pastor lied against me because of his envy. The teachers of Kivaa Sec. who were persecuting me did it because of envy. I do not see how a sexually immoral drunkard of a teacher can claim to me better than a born again Christian, like me. The envy of these fake Pastors and those wicked teachers caused me to be attacked and beaten in the staffroom and at the market outside my house by two teachers. They also threatened that one day they would kill me.

Elijah fled from Jezebel who wanted to kill him because of her envy. Because of envy, Miriam spoke against Moses. Due to envy, Jeremiah was cast into a pit. Due to envy, Joseph was cast into a pit and and later sold to Egypt by his brothers. Due to envy, Cain killed his brother Abel. Due to envy, they stoned Stephen to death. Because of envy, Isaiah was sawed into two. Due to envy, Peter was crucified upside down. Because of envy, John was banished from Israel. It is due to envy that your relatives, workmates, neighbors, etc., are against you without a good reason. Do not start hating yourself thinking you are wrong. Do not bow to their demands. Keep off their Satanic ways even if it means physically avoiding the. 1 Thess. 5v. 22 commands that you avoid all appearance of evil. Defy their ways and denounce them, and God shall fight for you.

Jesus is Not a Created God

There are those who claim that Jesus is a created God. They quote Isa. 9v. 6 which to them shows that Jesus is smaller than the Father. However, Isa. 9v. 6 shows that Jesus is the everlasting Father, just like God the Father. He is called "Everlasting Father" not a created Father. They go ahead and quote John 1V. 1 which to them shows that Jesus has a beginning. And these heretics replace "God" in John 1v. 1 with "god" in their Satanic Bible in an attempt to make Jesus a small god. They wrongly quote verses which call Christians "gods" like John 10vv. 34-35 to make Jesus an ordinary human just like all other saints. The verse in John 1v. 1 is simply saying what the everlasting Jesus did when God began to create. Our Lord Jesus is not a created god. He is the creator of all things. He is not just a prophet as some people claim. He is the creator of his prophets, including the prophet called Jesus!!!

One important thing people should understand is that Jesus is fully God, meaning he has no beginning and no end, and fully human, meaning he is a created being. Heb. 2v. 14 reveals that he partook flesh and blood that by his death he may save us. This means that God became a man so that he may be able to die. Man did not become God as God cannot be created. So, the doctrine of Jehovah Witnesses who imagine that Jesus is a man who became God is Satanic. It is only Satan who always wants to become God. Servants of Satan also want to become God, but they will never. Jesus is the GodMan, the “Theo-Anthropos.” He is not half God and half human. He is fully God, and fully human. That is why he is called the Son of God and also the Son of man. As the son of God, he knows all things just as the Father does, including the day of hi second coming. As the Son of Man, he does not know the day of his second coming just as all other created beings cannot know it.

The humanity of Jesus is finite, but Jesus the God is infinite. Because God could not die, he had to become a man that he may die and save us from our sins. Those who want to show Jesus as just another ascended master like of the world religions are only wasting their time. The things associated with Jesus can be proved and they are not ordinary. Jesus died and resurrected himself. None of the so called ascended masters has ever done that. Also, the name of Jesus has been wrongly given to false gods. What the Jehovah Witnesses, Seventh Day Adventists, Roman Catholics, Mormons, etc., call Jesus is not the biblical Jesus. The Jesus of Muslims is not the biblical Jesus. Their Jesus is just an ordinary prophet. The Jesus of the Catholics is represented by dumb idols and is a created God. They claim Mary is the mother of God, meaning God Jesus is a created being. God does not have a mother as he is everlasting. So, Mary is the mother of the man Jesus, not God Jesus. God Jesus is the one who created the man Jesus. The Jesus of the Seventh Day Adventists is said to be a manifestation of an angel, a created being. The Jesus of the Bible is the creator of the angels. The fact that a religion mentions Jesus does not mean the Jesus of the Bible has anything to do with it.

Poison the Frog!

Rev. 16vv. 13-14 talks about spirits like frogs which came out of the mouth of the dragon, false prophet, and the beast and went inciting people to war against God. A frog is a person filled with such spirits and he or she is out to incite others against you due to bitterness and envy in their hearts. When you are doing well, they slander you and may oftenly confront you with verbal or physical attacks. And the first manifestation of these frogs is within your family. Your enemy is the one close to you. Even Jesus himself said so. These frogs of people are also common in work places and many cause others to lose their jobs by accusing them maliciously before their seniors. I lost my job in 2008 as a result of these frogs of people who fought against me because of my faith in Christ Jesus of Nazareth and because I was preaching the gospel to my students at Kivaa Secondary School. I have also encountered the venom of frogs from own family.

A good illustration of the operation of the frogs is the case of Joseph. Joseph in Genesis 37 had dreams which revealed that he would be more senior than his brothers and parents and that they would all bow to him. His brothers and parents hated it. The brothers became so bitter with him that they threw him into a pit and later sold him to Egypt. Your relatives have thrown you to the pits of hatred and persecution and have sold you to agents of Satan. When they take your documents or parts of other things belonging to you like nails, hair, clothes, etc., to agents of Satan and pay them to bewitch you, they are selling your life to Satan. They pay those agents of Satan to finish you.

You must poison these frogs with your prayers and destroy them before they finish you. 2 Cor. 2v. 16 states that we are a smell of death and doom to those who are perishing. Your prayers against these frogs are poison to them, and if they do not repent, they shall die the death of the uncircumcised based on Ezek 28v. 10 and be buried with the burial of a donkey based on Jer. 22v. 19. Your prayers are the only thing you can do to release the vengeance of God. Praying against whoever wants to finish you is not revenge. It is calling upon God to confront your enemies on your behalf and finish them. A good example for an imprecatory prayer is Psalms 109. It was a prayer of David against his persecutors.

There is a Limit When it Comes to Doing Good

Christians who do not understand that there is a limit to the things we are commanded by God to do often misquote verses to others who seem to be wrong to them even when those others are the ones doing what the Bible commands. Gal. 6v. 9 commands that we do good to all men, but first to our fellow Christians. That does not mean that we are to do good to literary each and every Christian we come across. Luke 6v. 38 says that when you give, you get back from men. This means that if a Christian never gives, he does not deserve to get from others based on Proverbs 3v. 27. Prov. 3v. 27 commands that you should not withhold doing good to those who deserve it. This means there are some who deserve and others who do not deserve it.

There are many Christians who are parasites. They only exist to get things from others but they never give anything to others. They cannot study the Bible for themselves and depend on others to explain it to them. Others cannot pray for themselves because they are busy enjoying themselves, or sometimes working, and those who minister to them by prayer and teaching of the word, they cannot support. These people usually quote verses to condemn others when they reject their wicked behavior of depending on others in a negative way. These people work and earn money, but after misusing their money, they come to ask their friends for help. And some of them earn more than the people they trouble with their requests. The Bible is very clear that one shall reap what he sows. If people have been helping you in any way, you must also help them. If you refuse to do so, they will realize you are a tick and stop assisting you in the future.

You are to do good only to those who deserve it. You cannot throw away what God has given you to people who never see the value of giving. Mat. 7v. 6 says that you should not give holy things to dogs. Those words were spoken by Jesus himself. Dogs are those who do not deserve your help no matter how much suffering they are in. Doing good to those who do not deserve it is a type of false humility. False humility manifests where people to pretend to be good when omitting key biblical principles. Jesus said a bad tree cannot bear good fruit when speaking to those who pretended to be good. He called them white washed tombs. These walking corpses think saying sweet things to others always is a sign of spirituality. We must follow the example of Jesus and all other godly examples by other biblical characters.

Jesus, and other biblical characters like Elijah, Paul, Peter, etc., did not always say sweet things to everyone. They also called down woe (curses) upon people. For example, forgiveness does not mean you withdraw the punishment due to somebody. You should forgive and ask God to punish the offender unless the offender repents before God. Jesus forgave the Roman soldiers because they did not know what they were doing, but God forgave David his sin, but punished him by killing his son. Judas was not forgiven because he knew the evil he was doing. The Roman soldiers had been given somebody to kill, and it was not them who judged him. He was falsely accused, prosecuted by the Jews, and surrendered to the Roman courts for sentencing. If you willfully attack me, I will forgive you but will ask God to attack you. Vengeance belongs to God based on Rom. 12v. 19. Asking God to punish your enemy IS NOT VENGEANCE. IT IS ASKING GOD TO DEAL WITH THOSE WHO WANT YOU DEAD. False humility will deceive a person that it is a sin to ask God to punish your enemy. Do good to others, if they deserve it.

Education is a Blessing, Not a Curse

Some Christians claim that education is not important when it comes to spiritual matters. They say that going to Bible College is not useful and some even claim that going to Bible College spoils one’s spirituality. They go ahead and claim that educated people are proud and cannot be spiritual. However, when you look at the Bible keenly, you will realize that education is a blessing for those involved in ministry and not a curse as some people tend to wrongly teach. Daniel 1 reveals how Daniel and his friends were educated in Babylonian language and literature for three good years. They were ten times better academically than all their school mates. Daniel was great in ministry because of that secular education. He was able to read and write as a result of that education. Faith comes by hearing, and this hearing is most times by reading the Bible. If you are illiterate, how will you be able to hear by reading? The Holy Ghost is the teacher, but he has also given us resources or gifts to enable us to hear his word, and one of these gifts is education, even secular education.

Moses was trained in the house of Pharaoh and because of his training, he was successful in his ministry. He used the acquired skills to write the whole Torah. He was powerful in speech because of that training. Apostle Paul had a Ph.D in Theology and that is why he was able to write the Pauline Epistles well. Luke was a Medical Doctor, and this explains why he was able to communicate well in writing. He wrote the books of ACTS and Luke. Jesus was informally home schooled, and that is why he was able to read and write. His teaching utilized the skills he got in “school.”

Many of the great preachers of today are well educated and that is why they are able to reach many people with the gospel, especially through writing. In conclusion, I am simply saying that it is wrong for someone to claim that education does not help a person in spiritual matters. Our natural talents like education are useful, and the Bible commands that we use our talents in God’s service and we will be rewarded for it. However, going to Bible College does not qualify one to be a minister of the gospel. Ephe. 4v. 11 says that it is God who calls his ministers of the gospel. Sometimes his servants fulfill their ministries in a formal school setting. Elisha the prophet was running a school of the prophets. If he had a Bible College, it is Satanic to claim that going to Bible College is sinful and has no benefit. Teachers in the Bible Colleges are called by Jesus based on Ephe. 4v. 11.

Do Not Abort!!!

The Lord says to you that you should not abort your hope in him. Do not kill what God has given no matter how it has come. Heb. 11v. 1 says that faith is the substance of things hoped for. A substance is something which can be experienced physically. Based on John 10v. 10, the devil comes to steal, kill, and destroy that substance so that your hope in God dies, and that as a result you may sin. If you are raped and become pregnant as a result, do not abort the child. Killing is a sin. The devil knows that God has determined that the fruit of your womb will be great and prosper, and that is why he sends sinners to rape you that you may kill the fruit of your womb. Do not hate men or women just because one man or woman hurt you. God has determined that good men or women will come your way for blessings, but the devil brought a man or woman to hurt that you may hate all others and abort the plan of God for you. Babies belong to God, and though it a sin to rape, it is not a sin to become pregnant. Allow God to shame the devil and raise the child. Forgive the rapist and ask God to punish him seriously.

There are times when children come through bad ways, but God makes all things to work together for good to those who love him based on Rom. 8v. 28. A good example is in Gen. 38 where Judah was tricked by his daughter in law and had two children called Perez and Zerah. Judah did not kill the babies, but raised them. The fruit of his body was blessed and we know that later, Perez became the ancestor of David based on Ruth 4. If Judah had aborted the plan of God for his descendants, Perez would not have become the ancestor of David. David became the ancestor of Jesus based on Mat. 1vv. 3-16! Perez was determined to be great by God. Do not kill the great things God has in store for you.

There are times things fail to work as we desired. As humans we may complain, but when later we see the plan of God for it, we rejoice. Joseph was sold by his brothers because of his dreams, but later those brothers bowed before him just as the dreams had predicted. Even his parents bowed before their son Joseph. Do not worry about your relatives’ hatred against you. They shall bow before you soon.Their hatred is simply a sign of the great plan God has for you. Do not worry much about those around you who abuse and mistreat you. They are afraid of the greatness in you. I have personally gone persecution, death threats, hatred, assault, and everything imaginable from my relatives, even from parents, but I am very much aware that soon they will begin to bow.

I remember how when I was in primary school I was tormented by demons in my parents house and around our home. Do not ask me who owns those demons, as I am also asking the same, though what God has shown me is enough to know who owns those demons, but I am waiting for other men and women of God to see the same. And these demons attempted to physically destroy me in 2005 because of my fiery prayers. I had to fight against them by faith and they fled. Some apostles and pastors were afraid of them, some even fearing me because when they prayed for me, they also got attacked. Some even tried to tell me to stop rebuking those demons!!! I have seen the devils in visions as they were attacked by angels and God's fire. Those demons (majini) knew that God has a great plan for me, and they wanted to kill me, but they failed. In 2003, the same demons (majini) tried to kill me in a road accident after I had wept before God asking him to save me again and use me. I first got saved in 1994, but backslid up to 2003, when I got fed up with sin. The demons did not succeed in killing me, but I had my left leg amputated below the knee. I walk with the help of a prosthetic leg, but you cannot know unless I tell you. After the amputation, God showed me visions after prayer. I saw myself carried by a white bright pillar of cloud to the third Heaven. I saw God restore my amputated leg. I saw very many other things from then, with great angels surrounding me, some dressed in long white robes and others in sky-blue robes. Those visions gave me hope, and they shall come to pass as revealed. I cannot allow the devil to kill my hope.

The Power of Imprecatory Prayers

Many pseudo-Christians think that because God is Love, he does not punish people through prayers of his saints. These people also think that loving others means praying for the good of others always. They oftenly quote Mat. 5v. 44 where Jesus said we should pray for our enemies. However, Mat. 5v. 44 does not say we should not pray evil upon wicked people, but was saying we should first pray forgiving them and allowing God to deal with them. Rom. 12v. 19 says that vengeance belongs to God, and this means that imprecatory prayers are necessary to allow God to punish sinners who offend us. We are also called to be just, not loving. That is why God says that government officers are used by him to punish wrong doers in Rom. 13. Our governments have judges and armed forces used to punish wicked people by God and we should pray that whoever is involved in criminal activities, like the fallen Osama, be punished by the law enforcers in our nations. If you cannot pray calling down woes, death, and doom upon terrorists who refuse to repent and do what is godly and good, you are a devil servant. Those terrorists kill innocent people and deserve God;s wrath to the fullest. I personally cannot allow any person to kill me or those I love. I will declare death and doom upon them before they do it, and leave the results with God to determine when to do it. Remember the Bible says that people like witches and other agents of the devil should no be allowed to live. We must pray that they die unless they repent and live.

Imprecatory prayers are prayers calling down evil upon those who sin against us. Jer. 14v. 11 and Jer. 11v. 14 says you should not pray for the well being of this people. If God commanded Jeremiah to pray for woe upon those people, then it is biblical to do the same today. When you ask God to destroy your enemy, you are simply forgiving that person and allowing God to revenge on your behalf. If the person repents, the evil will not happen, but God will forgive and bless him. Ps. 109 is a good example of imprecatory prayers. David declares that the days of his persecutor shall be few and that his office shall be taken by another person. He even declares that his enemy’s wife shall become a widow and his children shall become beggars. This Psalm was applied by the New Testament apostles against Judas who betrayed Jesus. The said his days had become few according to the Scriptures. Jesus called down woe upon several unrepentant cities and upon the religious leaders of his days who opposed him. If Jesus called down evil on those people, it is correct to do so today. 1 John 5v. 16 says that you should pray for a person whose sin leads to death to live. That means that you should pray that God kills that person!

God does not change. If in the Old Testament his prophets imprecated others, we should do so toady. If Jesus called down woe on Judas, which caused Judas to commit suicide, we must follow his example. God has called us to release both blessings and curses from him. He is a just God. The Bible in Judges 5v. 23 curses whoever does not support Jesus against his enemies who are mighty. Moses, Elijah, Elisha, Jesus, etc., were full of love and justice. Elisha called a curse which led to the death of 42 young people. Love does not mean you preach peace, peace when there is no peace. The Bible teaches that each shall reap what they sow. Isa. 48v. 22 says there is no peace for the wicked. How the hell then do you pray for the peace of our persecutors? I have personally called down blessings on people and they came. I have also called down God’s curses on my persecutors and several died and others live lives of pain.

I recall how I was persecuted by the Principal of Kivaa Secondary School in Masinga in 2008 simply because of teaching that imprecatory prayers are biblical. The Principal and his cohorts informed me they would interdict me if I did not stop teaching verses on imprecatory prayers, and because I did not obey his demonic directive, I lost my job. He had imagined he was my god, by trying to tell me what to preach. Some fellow teachers who were Pastors also supported him, and I was even called an agent of Satan because of teaching about imprecatory prayers and declarations. I was beaten both in the staffroom and outside my house at Kivaa market by two teachers, and despite all that, the TSC, which supports religious discrimination based on my case, went ahead and took away my job. They even praised the HOD who took my walking stick and attacked me with it in the staffroom in my presence on 29.10.2008 when my case was being heard. That time I was walking with the help of a walking stick after I had been involved in bad road accident sometimes in the past. The Principal and his cohorts took advantage of my physical challenge to persecute me for my faith. And the TSC panel even preached Islam to me expecting me to accept that religion of the Alshabab and Algaeda, and when I refuted it because I had not gone there to listen to Islamic sermons, I was commanded to collect my documents and leave, with them promising they would enjoy sinning against me! Regardless of what they did, I am still serving my God according to his terms, but not according to the terms of a wicked Principal who imagines he is a god whose doctrines I should preach. And God has promised that he will deal with that Principal and his cohorts wherever they may be at his own time.

Sex is Sweet and Holy

Some people fear to talk about sex because they think sex is evil or dirty. However, sex was created by God to be sweet and for the married to enjoy. But, sex is not supposed to be practiced by those who are not married. The deepest sweetness of sex is supposed to be between one woman and one man. If there are one man and two or more women, the two women will not get all the sweetness God intended because God created one woman for one man.

Proverbs 5:15-19 states “Drink water from your own cistern, flowing water from your own well. Should your springs be scattered abroad, streams of water in the streets? Let them be for yourself alone, and not for strangers with you. Let your fountain be blessed, and rejoice in the wife of your youth, a lovely deer, a graceful doe. Let her breasts fill you at all times with delight; be intoxicated always in her love.” Based on this account, it is a sin for one to allow others to drink from his well! You should only be enjoyed by your wife or husband. The sweetness in you was meant for only one person, not for strangers all over.

1 Corinthians 7:5 states “Do not deprive one another, except perhaps by agreement for a limited time, that you may devote yourselves to prayer; but then come together again, so that Satan may not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.” Based on this account, it is a sin to deny your spouse the right to drink the sweet waters of your body because that well you have belongs to him or her. Your breasts should only be caressed by your husband, not by any other person. The unmarried women must not allow men to caress their breasts as that is kept till marriage. The same applies to deep kissing. These things arouse the sweet waters to come out for drinking and these waters are only for the married to enjoy. God created the two of you to have sexual pleasure together and so refusing to do so is a sin.

Hebrews 13:4 states “Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.” Based on this, sex is a holy thing before God and it is wrong for someone to imagine that having sex with his or her spouse defiles them. Some ignorant people imagine that they cannot pray and fast after having sex or that they cannot go to preach after having sex. Others think sex should be enjoyed when people want babies. Sex is a sweet thing to be enjoyed by all any time they want. Anything which is likely to spoil your sexual life must be avoided or dealt with properly.

The Logic Behind Self Powered Devices

There are those who strongly oppose the idea of a self powered machine because they think such devices break the laws of thermodynamics. Even when they see such devices working, they still oppose them saying they cannot work!!! However, these devices do exist, and they do work. The laws of thermodynamics affect devices in thermodynamic equilibrium, but when a device is not in thermodynamic equilibrium, those laws will not dictate how it works and so the device will work as an over-unity device.

There are very many examples of devices which power themselves. A good example is the sun. The sun sustains itself and provides extra energy for other bodies to use. The hydrological cycle is self sustaining. In fact, the whole universe is a self powered device. Self powered devices require a temporary external source of power to kick-start them, then after that they use a small part of their output energy to run themselves and the rest can be used to power other devices. The Yahweh Elohim kick-started the universe as an external source of power, set the laws of physics and allowed the universe to power itself. It has been running since when it was kick-started through creation upto now.

This technology is very useful today and should be widely embraced by all. There are still those who will doubt, but those should not discourage the others. One good thing to learn is how simple it is to turn a laptop into a self powered device without opening it. You only use its ports, wherein you will plug in devices readily available in the shops near you. You may buy my book titled "Self Powered Green Energy Devices" to learn all these things.

When Killing is Not a Sin

The Bible commands that you shall not murder in Exod. 20v. 13. The same Bible also commands that people be killed for certain things like practicing witchcraft, adultery, etc. There are very many people who refuse to join the armed forces or to accept to be licensed gun holders because they think it is always a sin to kill somebody. In the Old Testament, God commanded his people to attack and kill their enemies in a military battle. This account shows that there are times when killing is NOT MURDER. There is a difference between murdering and killing. Murder results from bitterness of heart and envy, but legal killing is a way for God to punish the evil doers.

Elijah killed all the prophets of Baal, and it was not a sin. Samson was born and anointed by God to attack and kill the Philistines, the enemies of Israel. Gideon was commanded to lead Israel against its enemies killing them, and it was not a sin. David killed Goliath, and it was righteousness before God. Phinehas killed the Israelite who committed adultery, and God blessed him for it. Moses led Israel in war against the Amalekites, the descendants of Esau, and God supported him. It is only the ignorant who think all killing is sinful.

Rom. 13 and 1 Pet. 2v. 14 states very well that soldiers are used by God to punish the wrong doers. In fact, it is a sin for a soldier to refuse to kill the enemy of his nation when he comes to attack his fellow citizens. Armed forces are servants of God just like we the ministers of the gospel, except their service is different. Therefore, it should be understood that killing illegally is a sin, but killing according to the law and according to the Scriptures is not a sin. If you are a licensed gun holder, killing for self defense is legal according to the law, and it is not murder. You are acting according to Rom. 13 and 1 Pet.2v. 14. However, killing in revenge is a sin. Even your nation will arrest and imprison you if you use your gun illegally.

It is not a sin therefore to join the military, and it is not a sin for judges to sentence criminals to death as they are being used by God to punish evil doers. People should properly read the Bible and apply it as it should be applied. Many people refuse to listen to the Holy Ghost because they are bound by demons. I have seen people refuse to read good books simply because the author says they saw visions. Ignorant people think that visions and miracles are things of the past, and these same people refuse to do many other things because they heretically think they are Satanic. God wants you to get a job as a soldier, and the devil deceives you that soldiers will go to hell because they kill. David is in heaven and yet he was killing many people during his life on earth, beginning with Goliath. Elijah is heaven, yet he killed all the prophets of Baal. This Elijah appeared before Jesus on the mountain when Jesus was transfigured miraculously. Moses was also present that day, yet he led Israel to kill their enemies. You must be wise, and must apply the Bible as led by the Holy Ghost, not as led by your Church traditions.

God Judges Based on Both Inward and Outward Behavior

There are those who keep saying to others not to denounce evil outward behavior claiming God does not look at the outward appearance but the inside. They usually misquote 1 Sam. 16v. 7 which talks about God not looking at the outward appearance but on the inside. However, they forget that God’s word does not say that God does not judge people based on how they behave outwardly, specifically, how they dress in public. First, let the reader understand that 1 Sam. 16v. 7 does not talk about outward behavior but physical appearance, specifically in that case, physical strength of a military king of Israel. Kings were supposed to be strong people to lead their nations in war. David was weak compared to his strong brothers, but God chose him and trained him to become strong in battle. So, that verse DOES NOT REFER TO OUTWARD BEHAVIOR BUT PHYSICAL APPEARANCE OF PEOPLE. It is therefore sinful to quote that verse to support bad dressing in public places.

Mat. 7v. 16 states that we shall know them by their fruits. Fruits are outward manifestations of what is inside our spirits. Mat. 15v. 19 says that adultery and sexual immorality come from inside. What is seen in public is a manifestation of what is inside and you shall be judged based on it. Prov. 7v. 10 makes reference to the dressing of a prostitute. If you dress like a prostitute, exposing the secret parts of your body, it means that you behave like a prostitute and that you are trying to attract clients. 1 Tim. 2v. 9 commands women to dress decently. The Bible is concerned about your outward behavior because it manifests what is inside. Jesus commanded that we wash the cup on the inside and outside. Claiming God does not look at the outside character like dressing is like washing a cup on the inside and leaving it dirty on the outside. Nobody can drink from a cup which is dirty on the outside. How the hell do you expect God to approve outward behavior which is bad based on this account?

I have a letter which was written to me warning I would be dismissed for rebuking a student who was dressed like a prostitute, where I quoted Prov. 7v. 10 to her instructing her to dress decently. The Principal later interdicted me using a cover up case simply because of my faith and my advice to students to practice the Christian faith as written in the Bible if they claimed to be Christians. The Bible has many examples of cases where God punished people for their evil outward behavior. Ananias and Saphira were killed for wrong outward character. The same applied to King Herod, Nadab and Abihu, Korah and his whole family. Strange dress code usually aimed at arousing sexual desire is a sin and should be denounced. I am not talking about the make of clothes. Unisex clothes are acceptable as long as they are decent. Women can wear trousers if the trousers are decent. We are not under the Old Testament laws but under the law of Christ.

Giving: A Biblical Command

If there is a topic people have ignored and hated, it is the doctrine of giving in support of God’s servants and work. In the Old Testament, the Jews were taught the importance of giving, and those who obeyed were blessed by Yahweh Elohim. Those who refused to obey and give in support of God’s work and servants were placed under the curse of God. If God has given you, you must give back to him by supporting his servants materially.

And this giving is not only aimed at your local Church Pastors. Any Minister of the gospel who ministers to you in any way, whether physically close to you or not, deserves your support. Abraham gave a tithe to Melchizedek, the King-Priest of Salem. Melchizedek was NOT the Pastor of Abraham, but he blessed Abraham when he came from rescuing Lot. Abraham was very rich because he understood the benefits of giving to the servants of God. If you cannot give to those who minister to the Church in any way, then you are cursed with a bitter curse. Judges 5v. 23 curses those who do not help the Lord against the mighty. Helping the Lord against the mighty is first by supporting those he has called and anointed to serve him and his people.

Gal. 6v. 6 commands that those who instruct others should be supported by those instructed. 1 Cor. 9v. 7 states that a soldier does not go to war at his own expense. Those who minister to others are soldiers and must be supported by those they minister to. When we pray for others, we are confronting demons on their behalf and there are consequences to this. We risk our lives through spiritual warfare and we deserve to be supported. All ministers of the Gospel of Christ are supposed to be given financial support by all other Christians. Luke 6v. 38 says that when you give you get back. If you cannot give, you will not get back blessings from those who are called to minister to you.

Ancient Near Eastern Religion and the Hebrew Scriptures

This study was done to address the topic of Ancient Near Eastern religion in terms of its basic assumptions, assessment of that religion in the Hebrew Scriptures, and the critical points of difference between that religion and the biblical text. The discussion is only an introduction because the study is short. A more detailed study would address the covered issues more fully. The study is done in three main parts as follows:

1. Assumptions underlying Ancient Near Eastern religion.

The first thing to understand is the meaning of assumptions. They are facts about a thing which are generally taken to be true. This part covers facts about Ancient Near Eastern religion which are assumed to be true. However it is important to understand that assuming that a thing is true becomes dangerous if it is proved to be wrong based on the light of real truth, especially the biblical truth.

Another important thing for one to understand is the meaning of religion. “Religion refers to a specific fundamental set of beliefs and practices generally agreed upon by a number of persons or sects.” (Definitions.com, 2013). This means this part addresses facts about beliefs and practices of the Ancient Near Eastern people.

Finally, before addressing these facts about beliefs and practices of Ancient Near Eastern people, one needs to understand what “Ancient Near East” refers to. About.com (2013) lists some geographical areas which make up the Ancient Near East. They include; Sumer, Babylonia, Assyria, Judea, Persia, Lebanon, Egypt, Syria, and Anatolia. This part discusses facts about the religion of these nations.

Wikipedia (2013) has addressed the issue to do with the religion of the Ancient Near Eastern people well. Facts about this religion are summarized hereinafter as found in the aforementioned webpage. First, the religion of the Ancient Near East is shown to be polytheistic. Polytheism involves the worship of many gods. The Ancient Near Eastern people served many gods which were oftenly represented by things like images, stones, and many other similar things. Some humans were worshiped as gods also. In other cases, some humans represented gods. These gods were known to perform different things, oftenly using people and animals. These gods could oftenly possess people and animals to the extend of controlling their bodies and minds. These gods were known to use the mouths of possessed people to speak. They, oftenly gave the possessed humans and animals unusual physical strength which was destructive. These animals and people in many cases destroyed themselves due to this uncontrollable unusual energy.

Wikipedia (2013) explains many practices of that religion. Whenever it was perceived that the gods were angry, purification and cleansing rites were performed. Because the Ancient Near Eastern people feared their gods, they oftenly offered sacrifices to their gods in many occasions for many reasons. These sacrifices included all types of things and sometimes they included human sacrifice. As mentioned before, the religion was basically polytheistic though Egypt and Greece were henotheistic societies. Theocracy, a state sponsored religion, was part of the practices of these people. Sacred prostitution was a major practice by these people. Different types of magic and divinations were also part of this religion.

In accordance with Wikipedia (2013), typically the Ancient Near Eastern religion centered around theocracies with dominating regional cult of the god of a city-state. This means that different cities or states in many cases had different gods which may have required altars constructed in their honor.

Finally, Wikipedia (2013) gives several types of divinations practiced in the Ancient Near Eastern religion. These divinations included; apantomancy which involved seeing animals, cleromancy which involved drawing lots, nephomancy which comprised cloud watching, ornithomancy which included watching birds in flight, capnomancy which was done through smoke, and finally oneiromancy which involved the use of dreams.

At this point, this part comes to a conclusion and leads the reader to the second part of the study.

2. The assessment of Ancient Near Eastern religion found in the Hebrew Scriptures.

After discussing the basic facts and practices of the Ancient Near Eastern religion, it is imperative to do an assessment of that religion found in the Hebrew Scriptures. The Hebrew Scriptures refer to the Old Testament because it was generally written in the Hebrew language.

Biblestudytools (1996) claims that people in lands surrounding Israel had deities which continually tempted the Israelites to turn from God. These deities are discussed hereinafter. It is important for the reader to note that in the Old Testament God continually used his prophets to denounce these deities and religious practices of the Ancient Near Eastern people who served them.

The Bible states in judges 2v. 13 that God’s people forsook him and worshiped Baal and Ashtoreths. (NIV). Asherah and her husband Baal were a great temptation against Israel. Evidence from Ugaritic mythologies and other texts suggest that Asherah refers to both Canaanite goddess and cultic objects facilitating worship. 1 Kings 18v. 1 to 1 Kings 19v, 18 explains the conflict between Elijah and the prophets of Baal. (NIV).

Also, 1 Sam. 31vv. 6-10 gives an assessment of the worship of Ashtoreth. Ashtoreth was popular among Phoenicians and other North Western Semitic peoples. Her worship involved worship of fertility.

Another god mentioned in the Hebrew Scriptures is Baal-Zebub. 2 Kings 1vv. 2-16 states that the god of Ekron was called Baal-Zebub. (NIV). Those Scriptures show the conflict between the power of God on Elijah and servants of a worshiper of Baal-Zebub. The fire of God destroyed many soldiers who attempted to arrest Elijah.

Biblestudytools (1996) continues to give an assessment of the Ancient Near Eastern religion in the Hebrew Scriptures. Num. 21v. 29 makes reference to Chemosh. (NIV). Chemosh was the primary god of Moabites and Ammonates. Elsewhere in Judges 16vv. 23-24, the Bible writes about dagon, the god of the Philistines. (NIV). The Philistines are shown to be offering a great sacrifice to Dagon whom they believed had captured Samson for them. Samson had been a great threat to them. His capture was a relief from his threats.

Another deity revealed in the Hebrew Scriptures is Hadad. This involved the deification of natural forces and war. Hadad relates to the Assyrians. The name Hadad appeards in Edomite genealogy. Hada was used in reference to a human to show he was a patron of a deity.

Additionally, Isa. 27v. 1 states that God would punish Leviathan the gliding serpent. (NIV). Leviathan can be identified with Lotan, sea monster of the Ugaritic. Generally, Leviathan is a manifestation of pride and false worship. God spoke of using a powerful sword to destroy Leviathan. This god is shown to have strong scales which are hard to penetrate. It is also called a coiling serpent to show how it coils itself around a person. Hebrew Scriptures show god as always being fiercely against this god.

Also, Jer. 50v. 2 states that Marduk would be filled with terror, her images would be put to shame, and her idols would be filled with terror. (NIV). Marduk was the chief deity of the Babylonians. God is seen being against this god which the Babylonians trusted. 1 Kings 11v. 5 mentions Milcom, the detestable god of the Ammonites. (NIV). Milcom is elsewhere called Molech who was associated with Moabites.

Finaaly, Jer. 7v. 18 writes about the Queen of Heaven. (NIV). This god was worshiped by the women of Judah and Egypt. Ezek. 8v. 14 explains how Ezekiel saw women mourning for Tamuz. Tamuz was a Syrian and Phoenician god of fertility. This brings this part to an end. The next part discusses the difference between the Ancient Near Eastern religion and the Scriptures.

3. The critical points of difference between the Ancient Near Eastern religion and the biblical view.

Because the Ancient Near Eastern religion was basically polytheistic, there is a difference between it and the biblical text which is monotheistic. The main points of difference between the two can be drawn from the message of the Old Testament prophets. A synopsis of this message is discussed hereafter in accordance with Jim and Carolyn Murphy. (2007). The biblical text shows that the Hebrews believed in monotheism. Exo. 20vv. 2-5 states that the Israelites were not to have other gods besides Yahweh. (NIV). The Ancient Near Eastern religion gods are evil spirits and were denounced all over the Old Testament. God is one but exists in three separate persons, namely the Father Son, and Spirit. The Hebrew Scriptures shoe that this one God was not to be worshiped with rituals usually used by the Ancient Near Eastern people to worship their gods. Unfortunately, the Ancient Near Eastern religious practices were adopted by many Ancient false followers of Yahweh and eventually passed over to the false followers of Christ. Prayer beads, images and many other pagan things used by Roman Catholics were adopted from the Ancient Near Eastern religion and they make Roman Catholicism a Christian cult.

Jim and Carolyn Murphy (2007) have also shown that the God of the Hebrews made a conditional with his people wherein he would remain their God if they obeyed him. Exo. 19v. 5 states that if the Hebrews obeyed God, they would be his treasured possession. (NIV). The Ancient Near Eastern religion also involved covenants but the covenants were different from those in the Hebrew Scriptures because they were aimed at appeasing gods or begging for favors from them. A covenant with Yahweh was not to appease him or to beg him to give his people something. Yahweh would bless his people because he loved them and his covenant with them was to assure them he would keep his word.

Also, the Hebrew Scriptures show that a Messiah would come to save his people from their sins and the power of Satan. Isa. 53vv. 1-5 shows that the Messiah would suffer for his people. (NIV). Isa. 9v. 6 states that the Messiah would be born like a human but he would be called “Mighty God.” (NIV). This means that he would be God. Only God can save a sinner. The Ancient Near Eastern religion did not make reference to any Messiah. Many ancient people believed that they did not need any savior. Many taught that kings were gods and that people would eventually become perfect or gods through application of different humanistic methodologies.

The Hebrew Scriptures write about eschatological things in a way the Ancient Near Eastern religion does not. The book of Daniel writes about the end of the age when the Messiah would come back to the earth for his people. The Hebrew prophets have written extensively about the day of judgment when the Messiah would come to judge the world. The Ancient Near Eastern religion does not talk of any Messiah or his judgment. It oftenly talks about theologies like reincarnation and other related ones which its followers believed were of benefit to them. These theologies are not supported by the Hebrew Scriptures. Many followers of Ancient Near Eastern religion believed that the universe will always remain as it is.

Many of the practices of the Ancient Near Eastern religion were condemned by the biblical text. The Hebrew Scriptures condemn witchcraft and magic according to Ezek. 13vv. 20-23. (NIV). Other practices like human sacrifice, sacred prostitution, sexual immorality, polygamy, and many others which the Ancient Near Eastern religion allowed were denounced fiercely by the Hebrew Scriptures. Generally, the God of the Hebrews is not the same as the gods of the Ancient Near Eastern religion and his message, even if at times it resembles that of that religion, is holy and caries infinite power from an infinite God. All the attributes of Yahweh are infinite, but those of the Ancient Near Eastern religion gods are not.

In conclusion, this study has discussed the basic facts about the Ancient Near Eastern religion such as divinations, city-state cults, and practices of that religion. It has also addressed the assessment of that religion found in the Hebrew Scriptures such as worship of Asherah, Baal, and many others. Finally it has shown the difference between the Ancient Near Eastern religion and the biblical text such as monotheism as opposed to polytheism, Messiah and many others. This brings the whole study to the end.

A Preview of the book: "Key Christian Issues: A Critical Analysis"

Revelation, Inspiration, and Authority

There has been an ongoing debate about revelation, inspiration and authority. Many have been debating unwisely and have only led to hostility. The debate has been based on many views. It is a good idea to discuss all these views in light of this passage: In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for Sins, he sat down at the right hand of the majesty in heaven. (Heb. 11vv. 1-3). The discussion shall be under three sub-topics as follows:

a. Revelation.

Revelation is categorized into that which emanates from human reasoning which is said to be natural and that which emanates from the throne of God which is special. This study is interested in revelation emanating from God’s throne. When the Scripture claims that God spoke through prophets in the Old Testament and through Jesus in the New Testament, it is referring to a divine revelation from above, not one from the common sense of mankind. The debate on divine revelation has many views which are discussed below. Unfortunately, most of the views held by majority are not stable, and when weighed against the Scriptures, they turn out to be commonsense, which has been seen to be natural.

There are those claiming that God has spoken by each individual. Every individual is seen as having the word of God and taken as an authority. So, the Bible does not apply to each individual because those opposed to it claim they have also heard from God and what they heard is not what the Bible claims. This view cannot be substantiated because there is no standard for it. Each person operates as a spiritual authority and is free to follow his own revelation. One man got born again in the year 2003 and started well. Soon, he began taking all his thoughts as revelation from God, claiming that he did not need the Bible because God’s Spirit was in him. He soon subscribed to the view that God has spoken to each individual and today he is mad. The introductory Scriptures have clearly stated that God spoke through the prophets in the past and in the last days he spoke through Jesus. Every individual was not a prophet in the Old Testament and everybody is not Jesus in the New Testament. This leads to yet another view.

A second view claims that God used all world religious to speak to mankind. The main problem with this view is that all religions are different and have different practices. Each has its own rules and even each has a different “God” with a different name. One God cannot contradict himself. The Bible contains the theme of monotheism with Yahweh cursing those who worship other gods or those who follow ways of other religions to worship him. Most of the religions worship idols and the creatures of God contrary to the word of god in Rom. Iv. 25. The opening verses are very clear, that God spoke through the Old Testament prophets and through his Son, Jesus Christ. All other religions do not follow a revelation given through these prophets and Jesus. There are still others who do not subscribe to the views already discussed, and so, this leads the reader to yet another view.

Although the Scriptures confirm that God’s revelation came through his Prophets in the Old Testament and through Jesus in the New Testament, many are still holding a view that these Scriptures are not the revelation of God but there are other texts which contain the revelation of God. Some claim that the texts they believe to be inspired dropped down from heaven. Still others are following texts written by people who did not want to follow what the Bible teaches. The doctrines of these other texts are contradictory and so one cannot validate them. These other texts have led to different world religions, some of which wrongly call themselves Christian. Some of these texts have been manipulated Scriptures from the Bible aimed at stating what the writer wanted but not what God wanted. They are called “Bibles” but they are false Bibles. The Scriptures contained in the Protestant Bible are inspired by God and following alternative texts will only lead one to destruction. Much study will only leave one tired based on Eccl. 12v. 12. This now leads to a view held by a few but which is the best.

If God spoke through his prophets and Jesus in the Old and New Testaments, his revelation is contained in the Holy Bible, which contains 66 books. 2 Tim. 3v. 16 shuts the mouths of the mockers by declaring that the Bible is inspired by God. The Bible is the only revelation of God available and is useful in many ways. The Bible clearly affirms that God has revealed himself in Rom. 1v. 20 and so one should not think of God as a self-centered despot who hides himself in fear of being discovered. One person proudly claimed that the Bible is read to children on days of worship and that there is no God. When one rejects the Bible, he or she rejects God whose revelation it carries. The character of God is shown in the Bible and so one should study it for personal benefit. No one should add to it and no one should delete anything from it. Although many read and see that Jesus applied the Old Testament Scriptures confirming that he came to fulfill them, there are still those who refuse to accept the fact that he came to reveal the Father to mankind. Worse is that, there is still another last category in this discussion having a view that the Bible is not complete and that revelation is still on through the body discussed next.

This last category claims that the organized Church is used by God to supplement what is contained in the Bible. The problem is that one is not able to tell which Church. Some claim the authority of Apostle Peter but have come up with the commandments of man which the Bible condemns. They read the Bible and see clearly that God spoke through his prophets and Jesus, not through the organized Church, but still follow their foolish ideologies, to their own destruction. They twist Scriptures to support their false doctrines and practices. Debating with this category is a painful thing, and that is why the Bible Cautions about meeting with a fool in his foolishness in Prov. 17v. 12. This brings the reader to the conclusion of this part.

In conclusion, one should have this point in his or her head and heart: God’s revelation, which is the Bible, came through his Old Testament Prophets and through his Son in the New Testament. All other views may appear true on the outside, but after a careful analysis, they are futile and of no use to anyone. This leads the reader to a second part of this discussion.

b. Inspiration.

In the introductory Scriptures, it has been stated that God spoke in the Old Testament through his prophets and through his Son in the New Testament. This makes references to inspiration wherein God used people to reveal himself to his creation. God revealed himself through inspiration, which is seen as God “breathing” upon the people being used. Just as was the case of revelation, inspiration has attracted a debate from people with different views. These views are discussed in the paragraphs below. As one reads a discussion on these views, it is important to know that all cannot be true.

One of the views claims that God dictated as the authors of the Scriptures wrote. When one reads the Scriptures, it is easy to notice that each book reflects that different personalities were involved because of the words and context of the text. If God used dictation, then all the books of the Bible would be uniform in all ways.

Another view states that God gave the ideas and thoughts and allowed the human authors to use their human talents to write his revelation. When one reads the Bible, he is able to realize that this view is true. Each author selected the words to use and even expresses his or her emotions while writing. Man is not a machine to operate at the click of a button. God partnered with Old Testament prophets and New Testament writers to reveal himself. He breathed upon them. 2 Pet.1v. 21 states that men of God spoke his word as they were carried along by the Holy Ghost. That does not sound like dictation. The Holy Ghost influenced them. Even when God used visions accompanied by audible words, still, the prophets used their talents to communicate to fellow humans. Although this view carries more weight than any other, others still have other views discussed next.

One category claims that the authors were not inspired but God inspired the written documents and copies of the original. This view has no value because the documents would have only been creations of humans and each has his own ideas. At the introduction, it was seen that God spoke through Old Testament prophets and through his Son in the New Testament, but does not state that he took human documents and breathed upon them making them his revelation. This leads to yet another view.

Everyone seems to have an idea in the ongoing debate. There are those who claim that the authors were not inspired at all but the audience is the one which was inspired. Audience includes the original, secondary and present day one. So, each person who reads has his own interpretation which is taken as authoritative. The problem is that, one God is seen giving contradicting messages to people and so this view is disqualified as being true. It is wrong. God spoke through prophets of Old and his Son, not through those who heard their messages. One may think this is the last view, but there are still others discussed below.

Many hold the view that God used the Church to speak. The problem is that no one tells his audience which Church was used. There are those who call themselves “one true Church” who seem to continue receiving “revelation” claimed to be from God, but the problem is that their practices do not agree with those in the New Testament Church as shown in the book of Acts In addition, the introductory verses have affirmed that God inspired his prophets of Old and his Son, but not a particular Church. This makes this view of no value to a teachable reader. This leads to one last view in this discussion.

Some claim that God used the natural imagination of man, just like in any secular field of study. This means that God cannot be trusted because he depends on the mind of man. The Bible shows that it is only Satan who has a human mind in Mat. 16v. 23. So, their view is of Satan and not God and should be discarded as being of no value. God used his Old Testament prophets and his Son to reveal himself to mankind. This brings the discussion on this part to conclusion.

In conclusion, it is easy to realize that God inspired his Old Testament prophets and his Son to speak to his people. 2 Tim. 3v.16 clearly shows that the Scriptures are inspired and the introductory verses show that he used men to create the Scriptures by giving them the ideas and thoughts and using their talents to put down his revelations in a written form for future generations to hear his will. This brings the discussion to the final part.

c. Authority.

In the introductory verses, the Scripture affirms that Jesus, the radiance of God’s glory sustains all things by his powerful word. His word is authoritative. Because God created all things by his word, his word applies to all things. One thing one should understand is that a text is not to be used as an authority because it is a revelation or because it is inspired. What matters is whose revelation or inspiration it is. Many so called world religion Scriptures are revelations which are not inspired by God. Some are inspired by people and others by demons. 1 Tim. 4v. 1 shows that there are doctrines of demons being followed by men. Elsewhere, the Bible shows that some people preach the commandments of men. Some Christian denominations follow a mixture of truth and commandments of their founders and leaders. One may want to know the extent of the Bible’s authority. The next paragraph tackles this.

Although the Bible is an authority for all men, it also uses good laws of men based on Rom. 13. All good laws in any country’s constitution are part of the law of God and are an authority for anyone in that country. International laws are also part of this law if they are good. The fact the Bible and all good laws of men are an authority for all does not mean that all obey it or can use it effectively. If a sinner declares Scriptures against Satan, nothing will happen because he or she does not have spiritual authority to use it. Similarity, if a villager quotes his or her country’s constitution against a thief in his village, nothing will happen because he or she does not have a legal authority which is needed and applies to courts. Declaring the Scripture or law this way may terrify Satan or the thief, but it will not bind them. They will still be free and may attack the one declaring it to silence him or her. At this point, one may want to know whether civil laws are inspired.

Human laws are not inspired, but all good human laws are sanctified by the inspired Scriptures and are authoritative because their authority comes from the Scripture. This means that when a sinful police officer is arresting a thief, he or she is serving God. This explains the reason as to why God brings his rainfall to sinners and saints alike. All of them do his work in one way or the other. So, authority can emanate from inspiration by God or sanctification by God. Sanctification here refers to setting apart a thing for God’s use. God is able to sanctify a sinner, as he did to Cyrus in Isa. 45v. 4, and use him to fulfill his purposes. When it comes to inspiration which brings about authority, one would want to know whether the Old and New Testaments, are both authoritative because God inspired both.

The Old and New Testaments are both authoritative because both are inspired by God, but not literally always. The Old Testament gives Christians principles to apply in different situations but the outward regulations such as what to wear, what to eat, and what to sacrifice, are not applicable. Even in the New Testament, one will also still need to draw principles to apply because both in the Old and New Testaments, there are some things which were only applicable to the original audience. One cannot take these and use them as an authority in his or her life. This brings the discussion to a conclusion.

In conclusion, it has been said that revelation may be natural or special. Different views of special revelation have been discussed with the best one being that God spoke through Old Testament prophets in the Old Testament and through his Son in the New Testament. Different views on inspiration have been analyzed with the best being that God gave the authors of Scriptures his ideas and thoughts but allowed them to use their natural talents to express them. Finally, authority has been discussed and the most important point seen as that the Bible is an authority because it originates from God and that human laws are part of the law of God if, and only if, they are good.

A Preview of the book: "Applied Demonology"

Introduction

I have heard of cases where people were taken to the hospital totally sick but the doctors could not find anything wrong in their bodies. No scientific equipment could identify the problem of the patient! And as a result, no treatment could be offered to the patient. In these situations, only a Christian whose spiritual eyes are open can detect what is happening to the sick person. This is why Zech. 3v. 6 states that it is not by might or power, but by the Spirit of God. What happens in the natural originates from the spirit realm. Hos. 4v. 6 says that the people of God are destroyed for lack of knowledge. I have been sent by Jesus Christ to present Applied Demonology to you that you may know why mankind is suffering and what to do about the causes of the suffering. You must have knowledge about demons and their work and this book has been commissioned by God to give you that knowledge. This is a free well of knowledge you did not dig based on Deut. 6vv. 10-11, and so you should take it seriously. I have spent many years digging it for you as an apostle of Christ Jesus. This does not mean I should give this book for free. Deut. 17v. 18 shows that you should to make a copy of it for yourself, and that is by buying it.

Luke 10v. 19 gives you authority to deal with all the power of the enemy. Demons are your enemies and so you must be ready to engage all of them in a spiritual battle. This means that you must first of all know the demons and their operations before you can effectively fight against them. Applied Demonology has been written by the command of God to prepare an army for Christ ready to demolish the kingdom of darkness. Judges 5v. 23 reveals that you should help the Lord against the mighty demonic powers against his creation.

Applied Demonology

Demonology is defined as the study of demons or beliefs about demons. Applied Demonology is the study and application of knowledge about demons in a spiritual battle with a purpose of setting free those who are bound by them.

The Purpose of Studying Applied Demonology

Josh. 1v. 8 commands that we should not let the book of the law depart from our mouths; we should meditate on it day and night, so that we may be careful to do everything written in it; then we will be prosperous and successful. The purpose of studying Applied Demonology is to obey the command of the Lord. The Bible teaches about demons and how to deal with them. The teachings contained in Applied Demonology are drawn from the Bible. After a study of this book, you will be able to watch and pray against the enemy and that will expand the kingdom of God. Your prayers will defeat all wicked people who serve the devil.

Rev. 13v. 4 says that men worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast. The dragon is Satan. Satan uses people, many of whom pretend to be servants of Jesus Christ. And because of the fake miracles they do, people follow them thinking that it is God using them. This book exposes Satan and his operations that you may not follow Satan thinking you are following God. The purpose of studying Applied Demonology is to enable you to worship God.

Satan and Demons

Rev. 12v. 7 says that there was a war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. The dragon was hurled down, that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray, and his angels with him. This account tells us that Satan is an angel who fell out of his assigned domain. Satan is an evil leader against God and his people. Demons are evil spirits and they do not have natural bodies.

Fallen angels have never inhabited flesh and blood bodies. Disembodied humans in hell or in the spirit world are demons. They are evil spirits doing the will of their father the devil. In Mat. 16v. 23, we see Jesus calling Peter “Satan” because he was opposing the will of God. He says that Satan has the mind of a man. Sinners in hell are Satan because they do the will of Satan. Gen. 3v. 15 says that there is a seed of a serpent and a seed of a woman. The seed of a serpent are serpents. In John 6v. 70, Jesus called Judas a devil. Judas, the son of Iscariot, is a demon in hell today. Rev. 2v.1 calls the pastor of the Church of Ephesus an “angel.” If saints are called “angels,” then sinners are “devils.” There are no spirits of natural beasts like animals in hell.

A Spirit Being

A spirit being is one which does not have a natural body. John 4v. 24 says that God is spirit. We never see God because he exists in the spirit realm. He does not have a natural physical body but has a spiritual body. The spiritual body of the Father and Son has a physical form resembling the body of a man but the body of the Holy Ghost does not have any form. A spirit being has flesh and bones but does not have blood based on Luke 24v. 39. The resurrected spiritual body of Jesus had flesh and bones. Also, a spirit being can be defined as one without a body, like the spirits of dead people. Spirits of dead people have forms resembling the one of the bodies they had before death. Luke 24v. 39 calls them ghosts. The word “ghost” simply means “spirit.”

Spiritual Realm

Spiritual realm refers to the realm of the spirit beings. This is the region beyond the natural one. Demons dwell in this region. Our spirits are conscious of this region. God dwells in the spirit realm.

The Aim of Satan’s Operations

If you look at Ezek. 28vv. 11-19, you will find that Satan was a perfect being before he fell. He was in the Eden of God. He was the anointed cherub as ordained by God. He was blameless before God before wickedness was found in him. He became violent and sinned. Because of his beauty, he became proud and corrupted his wisdom because of his splendor. He was expelled from Eden by God. Rev. 12v. 7 says that Satan leads the whole world astray.

Isa. 14vv. 12-15 says that the morning star, son of the down is fallen from heaven. He has been cast down to the earth, he who once laid low the nations. He says in his heart “I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of the sacred mountains…” He also said he would make himself as the Most High. Gen. 1v. 1says that in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. This was the beginning of the plans of God for man.

The aim of Satan is to frustrate the plans of God for man. The above account clearly shows that Satan planned to set his throne above the stars of God. Saints are the stars of God. Angels are also stars. God created angels in heaven and man on earth. God must have informed his angels about his plans to create mankind on earth. Man was to have dominion over all other creatures based on Gen. 1v. 28. Satan wanted to rule over mankind contrary to the will of God. He thought he was too beautiful to be under mankind, or any other being, even God himself.

Satan also strongly wanted to be God, the Most High! Satan aims at overthrowing God and sitting on his throne. Though Satan has failed in his plans since the beginning, he still believes that somehow God can make a mistake which would lead to his defeat. All demons share the same vision with the devil. Because of this, there shall be spiritual battle on this universe till the end of this age.

Satan’s Legal Rights

Satan understands authority very well. For him to operate, he must have a claim in the place or person he wants to dominate. When God created Adam and Eve, he created them in his image, as in Gen. 1v. 27. They were perfect and God blessed them. The blessings in Gen. 1v. 28 mean that Satan had no legal right to rule over the earth. Man was to rule over everything. However, Satan wanted the position and authority God had given to man.

Satan planned to trick Adam and Eve to give him permission to rule over them. This was only possible if they fell into sin. And they did! The devil tricked Eve and she ate the forbidden fruit. Adam ate the fruit willfully. At this point, Satan began to rule over this universe. In Gen. 3vv. 16-19, we see God cursing both Adam and Eve. This was the beginning of God’s curses on mankind.

These curses are Satan’s legal rights to attack the Kingdom of God. Whenever you sin, you open a gate for Satan to enter and attack you. Ps. 109v. 6 says that God sets Satan at the right hand of the sinner to oppose him. Rev. 9vv. 1-11 shows that God will permit multitudes of demons to attack sinners during the tribulation period. Satan’s legal rights are permissions granted by God to attack sinners. Rev. 19v. 6 says that God reigns. It may appear that Satan is reigning, but the truth is that God reigns. Satan operates by God’s permission. Satan knows very well that God reigns and that his time is short. Even with this knowledge, Satan still opposes God.

Even agents of Satan know that God is reigning. They know that unless God permits, they cannot attack anyone and overcome him. In Num. 24vv. 1-2, we read that when Balaam saw that it pleased the Lord to bless Israel, he did not result to sorcery as at other times, but turned his face towards the desert. When he saw Israel encamped tribe by tribe, the Spirit of God came upon him and he uttered his oracle. Balaam was both a prophet of God and a sorcerer. He only sent demons to attack people God was not pleased to bless.

Where a sin exists, a curse exists and so demons will attack. Demons will attack either because of personal or ancestral sins based on Exod. 20v. 5. This is why Jer. 14v. 20 encourages people to confess their personal and ancestral sins. Later in this book, you shall practically learn how to break Satan’s legal rights. Meanwhile, let us go through the 59 biblical curses by which Satan and his cohorts derive their authority to destroy mankind:

As in Josh. 9vv. 22-23 and Jer. 48v. 10, those against willing deceivers.

As in Num. 5v. 27, those on adulterous women.

As in Deut. 11v. 28 and Dan. 9v. 11, disobedience to the Lord’s commands.
