Miracles are for Today

The skeptic claims that miracles were only possible during the Bible times. To him, any sign or miracle happening today must be from the devil. The skeptic believes that when the Scriptures were completed being written, all miracles, signs, and wonders stopped. And the skeptic quotes 1 Cor. 13vv. 8-13 to substantiate his heretic claims. However, that passage clearly says that the perfect will come when we see Jesus face to face. We are yet to do that. And if miracles passed away when Scriptures were finished being written, then what about knowledge? That passage says that knowledge will also pass away when the perfect has come. But we all know knowledge is very much present today.

Mark 16v. 20 says that the desciples went and preached and Jesus confirmed his word with signs. We must follow their example. Do not fake miracles or pretend to do them. Just preach the word, and pray for the sick, troubled, and needy, and God will do his work. Do your part and leave God alone to do his part. There are those who make up things. Some push people to fall down so as to show they have power. Just pray, and if God wants somebody to fall, he will fall. It is not a must that one falls down to get a miracle. I have seen people fall when I prayed, but others did not. In both cases, God blessed them. I have seen a Pastor hitting a person continually in the upper part of the stomach while praying for him. That is meant to make him weak and fall down. That is faking miracles. It is demonic. I have seen the same Pastor holding someone's head and moving it round in circles until the person faints. That is faking miracles and is demonic. Just pray slightly laying your hands on the person if need be, and God will do his work.

Mat. 10v. 8 tells us to heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, and cast out demons for freely we have recieved the power of God. Luke 10v. 19 gives us power to tread on all the power of the enemy and nothing shall hurt us. Acts 1v. 8 tells us that we need to be filled with the Holy Ghost to be able to witness for Christ. Always, the infilling is accompanied with speaking in other tongues. Mark 16v. 17 says those who believe shall speak in new tongues. As I post right now, I am praying in tongues. I can read and type while my spirit prays through my mouth because my mind is free to read and do other things. If you are preaching without the infilling, you are wasting your time. Get filled and God will do great and unsearchable things through you.
