There are some deceived Christians who seem to be misleading the saints of God about the nature of the divinity of God. And they, together with those they are misleading are perishing, when they should not. Hos. 4v. 6 says that the people of God are destroyed for lack of knowledge. These people of God will be cast into the outer darkness according to Mat. 8v. 12 where there shall be gnashing of teeth. They claim that JESUS IS THE ONLY PERSON OF THE ONE TRUE GOD. This in light of the Scriptures is wrong and is a deceptive doctrine of the devil.
These people claim that there is no God the Father and no God the Holy Ghost. To them, there is only Jesus. So when the Bible mentions the Father, it is talking about Jesus. When the Bible mentions the Holy Ghost, it is referring to Jesus. This is wrong. Gen. 1v. 26 writes of God saying, “… Let us make man in our image…” This shows that there are several persons of the one true God. Jesus could not be the one saying to himself, “Let us.” The only one single person who can call himself “us” is the man filled with a legion of demons. The Father said to Jesus and the Holy Ghost, “Let us…” God is one but exists in three separate persons who are equal in all ways.
The Holy Ghost is first mentioned in Gen. 1v. 2 where he hovered over the waters covering the earth. Obviously, it was not Jesus hovering over the waters. Jesus is not the Spirit of God but the Son of God. Luke 3v. 22 writes of the Father calling Jesus his Son. That is not Jesus calling himself his own Son! No one can beget himself, not even God. The Father begot the Son, but the Son did not beget himself. Right? Luke 3v. 22 shows the Holy Ghost descending upon Jesus in the form of a dove. That was obviously not Jesus descending upon himself in the form of a dove! There is God the Holy Ghost. John 17vv. 20-26 writes of Jesus praying to the Father. Jesus was surely not praying to himself. Ok? He says that he knows the Father but the world does not. Does that mean he knew himself but the world did not? John 20v. 17 shows Jesus telling Mary he had not yet ascended to the Father in heaven. Does that mean he had not yet ascended to himself in heaven? No. These accounts prove beyond any reasonable doubt that God is one, but exists in three persons, namely the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost.
