Gen. 2vv. 21-23 says that God made a woman and brought her to man. It is the work of God to bring women and men together for marriage, NOT Church leaders. Many heretic preachers have been arranging marriages for people contrary to the will of God with the selfish aim of holding them to their Churches to maintain Church numbers and offerings. This is a humanistic and a Satanic way of doing ministry and should be denounced by any spiritual person.
It is the work of God to connect people for marriage, and so you should stop those demonic arrangements and allow men and women to make friends and if they fall in love, they will decide to get married. Prov. 19v. 14 says that a prudent wife is from the Lord, NOT from your pastor. If a wife or husband was a result of human arrangement, then the marriage will be full of pain and if it does not break, it will not be enjoyable. Prov. 18v. 22 says that whoever gets a wife gets a good thing and receives favor from God, NOT from men. It is therefore not fit for men to sit on God's throne and start arranging for who one should marry hence giving them a human favor in place of the favor ofGod.
These arrangements are one of the ways for these preachers to build their Churches and increase offerings and tithes. They want to use you in their Churches not because they love you but because they want you to attract more members there which translates to more money. They think that if a man and a woman are friends, there should be an arrangement for them to marry. These connections, together with other dos and don'ts, are not of God. Such pastors are the ones who say when a man and a woman should meet and talk, and where the meeting should be. Grow up pastor, and get down from your chariot of pride, and do the will of God.
