Appreciation

It is important to appreciate whenever someone does good to you in any way. Appreciation can involve words and deeds of showing how thankful you are. Some people never appreciate and for this they miss future blessings associated with saying thanks. Below are verses for you to meditate on about appreciation, both to man and God. It is only through love that people will know that you are of God. There are many things you can do for others. If you know somebody is in need, help that person as a way of appreciating what God has done for you. God is in heaven and his people represent his Son here on earth. What you do to them is done to Jesus Christ of Nazareth whom they represent and belong.

John 13vv. 34-35: A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

1 John 4v. 8: Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.

Without appreciation when others do good to you, you are simply saying that you do not have love in your heart. Love must always be accompanied with deeds of love. If you cannot appreciate by blessing back those who have done good things for you, whether spiritual or material, you do not know God because you do not have love. Whoever does not love does not know God. God is Love, but please, Love is NOT God. The Bible in Luke 6v. 38 commands that you give if you want to get back. Give your spiritual blessings to people if God has anointed you, and let them decide what to do as appreciation. If they are properly taught, they will bless back with their money or other material things.

Another sign of lack of love is procrastination. If you are able to bless a person today, do not keep moving it to a future date. Do not say that the person does not need it now. He or she needs it now. Remember what you are doing is being done to Jesus, to whom the person belongs. Many people have budgets for all other things, but God does not appear in those budgets. Sparing something for helping others, including your ministers of the gospel, and the poor and needy in society, is sparing something to appreciate for what God has done for you.
